Your first visit
What a first visit covers
The first visit is an evaluation of about 60 minutes with one prescriber, in person in Henderson or by video if you are in Nevada. Nothing happens that is not explained first, and you can stop or ask a question at any point.
This page is the whole visit in order, so that nothing on the day is a surprise.

- 03
After the visit
What you leave with, and what comes next.
The plan, in writing, before you leave
Prescriptions sent to the pharmacy you choose, if there are any
A lab order, only if one matters for the choice
A time for the next visit, or none if none is needed
What we do not do
What a first visit is not
It is not therapy, and it does not promise a prescription: a medicine is one option, and some visits end without one. It is not a court or work evaluation. If you are in crisis, call or text 988; in an emergency, call 911.
Prescribing decisions come after the evaluation, under the written prescribing policy. The prescriber explains the risks of anything suggested before you choose.
Questions
Three questions about the first visit
How long is it?
About 60 minutes, including the plan at the end.
Can I bring someone?
Yes. Tell us when you write.
Will I leave with a prescription?
Only if the prescriber and you decide a medicine is the right step, after the options and risks are explained.
