Medication follow-up
Follow-up: short visits to check, adjust and renew
It is for adults who have had an evaluation here and take a medicine we prescribed.
A follow-up is about 25 minutes, in person in Henderson or by video if you are in Nevada. Fridays are by video.

The visit
What a follow-up looks like
- 01
How it is going
Your sleep, your days and what has changed since the last visit.
- 02
What you notice
Anything the medicine does that you did not expect, good or bad.
- 03
Adjusting
A change, or no change, with the reason written down.
- 04
Renewing
Your prescription is renewed under the written policy and sent to your pharmacy.
Limits
What a follow-up is not
Not a walk-in
Follow-ups are booked, so the time is yours.
Not a place to start a controlled medicine by video
We are licensed in Nevada, and we do not start controlled medicines at a video visit. The prescribing policy explains why.
Not for emergencies
If you are in crisis, call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911.
Length and cost
Short, and as often as it needs to be
A follow-up takes about 25 minutes. Your prescriber sets how far apart they are with you, and a medicine that has just started or changed is checked more often.
Your fee is given to you in writing before you start. How fees work explains what sets it and what you can ask for.
Questions
Three questions about this visit
Can I get a refill between visits?
Ask the office. Refills follow the written prescribing policy and are not promised by message.
What if I want to stop a medicine?
Please do not stop on your own. Call the office first so the prescriber can plan it with you.
Can I see the same person each time?
Yes. You keep the same prescriber from the evaluation on.
Ask for a visit, with the times that suit you
We reply within one business day, and your fee is in writing before you start.
